TruckPro Kingsport, TN
Over 2015-16, one of Tessera’s principals worked with TruckPro to design and develop a new, standalone facility for the relocation of TruckPro’s existing Kingsport operation. This facility would serve as a prototype for future TruckPro locations in North America. Tessera identified and acquired the 2.13 acre parcel, engaged the design-build general contractor, and managed the construction of a new 17,500 sf showroom/warehouse facility.
Headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee, TruckPro is the nation’s largest independent distributor of heavy-duty aftermarket truck and trailer products and advanced repair services, with over 150 retail locations and 11 distribution centers in 32 states and Canada. The firm was founded in Memphis, Tennessee in 1958 as a small heavy-duty truck parts shop. TruckPro was a subsidiary of AutoZone, Inc. between 1998 and 2001.
