In 2006, one of Tessera’s principals expanded and redesigned Gerdau’s reinforcing steel fabrication facility. The 15,000 sf addition tripled the capacity of the storage bay and increased the efficiency of: (i) fabrication, through the addition of an overhead crane, and (ii) loading, through the installation of recessed truck wells. Gerdau continued to operate out of the premises during the renovation period.
